SHARE4Chidren: In early 1953 seven women met for lunch. Unbeknownst to the casual passersby, these women had an agenda and a mission: they had decided to passionately commit to raise money and help organize programs to improve the lives of children with special needs. This is the blog of that organization over 60 years and $48 million later.

What's All This For?
Every year we hold special fundraising events here in the Los Angeles area - Boomtown, A Day at the Races, Ladies Night Out: A Bachelor Auction, and Glamour Gowns Dress Give Away.
It's a lot of work coordinating all of our efforts to get the most
value for the charities we support. Some of you may even ask, "why do
you do it?"
